Wellness Bavaria
Relaxing wellness holiday in southeast Bavaria
Bavaria remains the most popular German state for a relaxing wellness vacation. My wife and I are also committed to wellness for Bavaria vacationers. We prefer the southeast, especially the spa area around Bad Füssing. We particularly enjoy combining our wellness Bavaria vacation with spa days at the healing thermal springs. The selection of worthwhile excursion destinations in Bavaria, Austria, and the Czech Republic is extensive.
Last summer, good friends recommended the family-run Hotel Antoniushof in Ruhstorf as a place to stay, so we decided to try it out during our autumn vacation. We received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable, the food delicious, and the beauty and wellness offerings are very satisfactory. The Antoniushof has an outdoor pool and a large indoor pool. The “Antonia” spa offers a variety of options for rest on two levels, including a Finnish sauna, whirlpool, and solarium. The health-promoting effects of the Kneipp pools have been medically proven. The masseurs at the Antoniushof are highly trained and master techniques from all over the world.
We love hiking through the charming landscape of what is known as Bavarian Tuscany. And since we are traveling by car, we have the opportunity to visit the region’s cities and tourist attractions as we please. The city of Passau, where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers converge, is well worth a visit. We have also visited Landshut, Munich, Salzburg, Linz, and the Czech city of Budweis. Not far from Ruhstorf is Europe’s longest castle complex. The idyllic landscape of southeast Bavaria is a wonderful setting for the churches, monasteries, castles, and palaces, which are well worth seeing. Among them are numerous Romanesque and Baroque buildings. The southeast is simply predestined for a wellness vacation in Bavaria, and we will certainly return there again. A wellness vacation in a truly beautiful wellness hotel in Bavaria is something you won’t soon forget.
So check who goes on holiday together
The first vacation is planned with great anticipation. It can turn into a real ordeal for the newlyweds. After the vacation, the dream couple doesn’t end up at the altar in suits and wedding dresses but instead splits up forever. In everyday life, you’ve settled in and gotten used to each other, but on vacation, everything suddenly changes. Suddenly, you’re stuck together 24 hours a day, arguing over each other’s quirks.
Everyone has different ideas about what their perfect vacation should look like. Many surveys among friends and acquaintances confirm that the likelihood of separation after a vacation is particularly high.
Before you rush into vacation planning, it’s better to be realistic. Trying to cram too much into your first trip is guaranteed to fail. Honesty is a good foundation for a relaxing vacation. Don’t say yes to something that only one partner likes. You’ll end up regretting having held back on your wishes. It’s important that the couple choose activities that both enjoy, but also things that only one of them enjoys, and then take turns.
A major source of conflict on vacation is the shared budget. If you don’t already live together and share everything, suddenly managing on a shared vacation budget can prove to be a serious hurdle. Ideally, the partners are willing to take turns paying and spend similar amounts.
If you follow these tips during the planning stage and talk about what your partners want, nothing will stand in the way of a dream vacation – and after the first major relationship test, you can move on to other things like weddings, bridal fashion, and the like with much less worry!
